Sarti and Il Bacaro Staff visit Chapman Hill
On Sunday 20th May, the staff of Sarti and Il Bacaro boarded the Chapman Hill bus, for a visit to the grove. We lunched in the woolshed on home made Salami, Prosciutto, Marinated Olives and Tapenade followed by our Lamb roasted slowly, and then Little Chocolate Espresso pots and Apple Cakes. Sarah Gough's Boxgrove Vineyard Roussanne and Shiraz/Roussanne and Curly Flat Williams Crossing Pinot Noir were the delicious local wines chosen. Even more local was the Tooborac Hotel Pale Ale and Amber Ale - we are lucky folk to have such great wine and beer to share with our friends. Please note the photos of our day.

Harvest of the 2011 Olive crop completed
It is an exciting time at Chapman Hill as we have just completed our 2011 harvest.
In the first week of June the contract harvester arrived to harvest the fruit.
Each variety was harvested and pressed separately, and will then be settled for approximately 4 weeks prior to bottling in July.
